Happy Imbolc, everyone!

Yes, I know it is Groundhog Day, but it is also a much older holiday, one which celebrates Light.  Imbolc, or Brigid, is an ancient Celtic celebration, a re-affirmation of the return of the Sun, and a day honoring the Celtic goddess of fire.  This carried over into the Catholic Church, which considers February 2nd to be Candlemas.  Although the holiday supposedly has nothing to with light, the name implies so.  Brigid was celebrated by setting bonfires on high hills.
